Auto Expo 2010 is coming
Auto Expo 2010 is coming soon giving us a chance to have a first look at upcoming cars.The Auto Expo 2010 will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 5th to 11th January. India has fast become one of the largest markets for automobiles and no doubt that manufacturers will be going all out to make a good impression on the Indian customer in the Auto Expo.The Auto Expo is organised by the Automotive Component manufacturers Association(ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers(SIAM). Auto Expo 2010 is already generating a lot of interest because a lot of manufacturers have planned for bringing new models to India.
The German manufacturers will have an added advantage in the Auto Expo as the German Government has already announced an official German pavilion in the Auto Expo 2010. Tata Motors have already taken up the largest space going with its tradition.Not sure what Tata will be launching new. May be a prototype of their Hybrid Nano? Perhaps!!Just Kidding though, they have actually just started planning the Hybrid Nano. One sure model that could be showcased in the Tata space will be Tata IndiCruz, the new Multi Purpose Vehicle from Tata due to be launched in the first quarter of 2010.Land Rovers and Jaguars can also be expected in the Tata stables.
Maruti Suzuki is also promising to deliver new models in the Auto Expo 2010. The Maruti Kizashi should be one of the exhibits and Maruti will be hoping to give a good first impression to the Indian customers for their D segment Sedan due in 2010.Maruti may also showcase the Maruti Eco,the successor to the Versa model.Ford Figo,Toyota Avanza,Prius, Nissan 370Z,Hyundai Santa Fe etc are some of the other cars that are expected to be on show. In addition, we will sure be able to witness one or two surprise releases from the manufacturers.
As for the bike manufacturer, the usual suspects Bajaj, Hero Honda and Yamaha have already announced huge spaces.Will Bajaj finally showcase a 250 cc Pulsar model?There is a huge buzz around that something like that may happen but these are just rumours as yet.Harley Davidson have made no secrets in its plans to enter the Indian market and they will be hoping to make a grand entry with a good show at the Auto Expo 2010.
