Honda Jazz-Premium Hatchback from Honda
The much awaited Honda Jazz will be on Indian roads on June 10th 2009.The Jazz has been one of the most successful small cars from Honda and Honda will be expecting a warm welcome for its Indian version. The Jazz is built on Honda’s Global small car platform,a platform shared by the likes of Honda City.
The Jazz looks really impressive with its attractive headlamps and inclined windscreens and sporty looks.
The premium hatchback car from Honda will have a 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine,delivering power of 90PS@6200rpm and Torque of 110 @4800 rpm.The mileage promised by Honda is 16kmpl.
The Jazz also comes with a host of safety features which incudes G Force Control technology,6 airbags,ABS,EBD.
The hatchback will seat 5 people and also provides a boot space of 400lts.The Jazz also promises to be good on comfort and convenience providing you with Power windows,Remote Central locking,fuel filler,Rear wiper and Defogger and others.
Come June 10th,the Jazz will enter into the Indian markets with high hopes of making it big in the small car segment.The Jazz would have to face some stiff competition from the likes of Indica Vista,I20,the to be launched Fiat Bravo and Punto and the Fabia.
The Jazz is being launched in three versions-the Basic,Mode and the Active.The Active mode is a family utility vehicle while the Active is the sporty version.The Jazz Mode will have body side moldings, corner protectors to prevent parking scratches, mud flaps and garnishes on the side step.The Sports version will have sporty pedals, body coloured front grille,and a smart spoiler.
