Toyota launches New Camry in India
The Toyota luxury sedan Camry has been given a face lift by Toyota.The New Camry comes in 4 different variants and will be priced between 21 lakhs to 24 lakhs,the variants being the W1,W2,W3 and the W4.The difference between them being that the W3 and W4 comes with moon roof.Also, the W1 and W3 features manual gear transmission while the Q2 and Q4 comes with automatic gear transmission.
The New Camry is powered by a 2362 cc 4 cylinder VVT-i engine giving you a maximum power of 1565 Bhp @ 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 224 Nm @ 4000 rpm.The fuel efficiency is between 7 kmpl in cities to 9 kmpl on highways.
The New Camry like its predecessor continues to impress with its eye catching looks and it looks even better on the exterior.Modern and athletic design has gone into the New Camry.The front now sports a
new Chrome grille with the Toyota emblem accentuating the front grille.The discharge headlamps at the front increases the visibility and the looks.Double lenses for the tail lamps underline the modern approach of the design team at Toyota.The front bumper has been re profiled as has the Fog lamps,which are now Chrome Ringed.
The interiors of the Camry has also been changed a lot.The new interior gives you better space and comfort.Also the storage space seems have been increased,thus giving you with a comfortable car with space.The New Camry has new instrument panels,Cruise control,Optitron Meter with Multi information display,Auto headlamps and rear sensing wipers and the list goes on.The leather wrapped steering wheels add to the aesthetics of the New Camry.
The New Camry also comes with the most advanced safety features.Apart from the standard safety equipments like the air bags and seat belts,the New Camry is also equipped with ABS and EBD.
The New Camry will have to fight it out against the Honda Accord V6,Hyundai Sonata Transform and the Skoda Superb in Indian markets.The New Camry will be available in colors-Super White,Metallic Silver,Black,Beige Mica and Dark Green Mica.
