Yamaha FZ-S – ‘Stylish’ Lord Of The Streets!!!
Following the success of the FZ-16, India Yamaha Motors have launched an all-new version of their naked street-fighter which is christened FZ-S. For those who fell in love with the FZ-16, do be very careful – ‘coz the FZ-S might just sweep you off your feet. The FZ-S is thus Yamaha’s idea of a stylish version of the FZ.
The specifications, however, remain just the same as that of it’s predecessor. The modds have taken place at the front-end of the bike, which sees a new design windshield. The design of the headlight has been tweaked as well which gives the bike an even more aggressive look now. Another difference from the FZ-16 is the carbon pattern meter consol, which is stylish and sporty.
The paint job given to the FZ-S is two-tone. And the two colour options are -
Yellow Streak and Silver Tech. The little tweaks given to the bike has given it an even muscular look. The FZ-16 had the reputation of being a well-balanced bike and this modded version, would be no exception. The Yamaha fanatics will sure lap this one up as well. Following the launch of the YZF R15 and the FZ-16, Yamaha Motors have reported a steep rise in sales and the FZ-S is expected to impove things even further.
The bike is priced at Rs 67,000(Ex Showroom Delhi), which is a good two thousand rupees more than the FZ-16. However, it remains unclear whether the company plans to deliver the ‘S’ as just a ‘limited edition’ or otherwise. Here are the technical specifications, which remain unchanged.
