UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw:Big Guns Get Easy Draws

The pool of seedings meant that the the draw could have made up some very interesting groups.There were even chances of any of the English clubs being in the same group as Real Madrid who were in the second pot.As such,when the draw was made ,all English clubs will be happy that they have avoided other big guns from across Europe.

EPL Gameweek3:Liverpool falls to the Villans

The 2nd week of action in the EPL saw Manchester United bouncing back from their upset at Turf Moor in emphatic style,with a 5-0 victory against Wigan.United’s struggle for goals was again seen in the first half,where Wigan had its fair share of chances to score too.But once the second half started,it was all United.

Premiership Midweek-United Shocked by Burnley

Premiership midweek fixtures saw three of the ‘Big-Four’ in action and it produced the first shock result of the season as Burnley upset the mighty Manchester United at Turf Moor.
Wednesday night football saw Manchester United travel to the Turf Moor to take on Burnley,a side which has not been in top flight football since  1976.Burnley were comfortably beaten in their first outing,going down 2-0 against Stock City and they were not expected to pose a serious challenge to Manchester United.But what resulted was the first major upset of the season.

EPL Super Sunday-Liverpool falls to Spurs

Super Sunday of the EPL 2009/10 season 1st week saw Manchester United and Liverpool in action against Bimingham City and Tottenham Hospur respectively.The evening saw Manchester United starting their campaign on a winning note but with a more than unconvincing win as Birmingham did give a few scares to the Manchester United defence.

EPL 2009/10 First Day Review-Arsenal at their best

The 2009/10 season of the English Premier League got underway on the 15th of August.Here is a review of the matches that took place on the first day of the current campaign.First up was Chelsea against Hull City at th Bridge.
