he 2010 Monaco Grand Prix was yet another classic. Mark Webber led every lap of the race and took Red Bull to a 1-2 victory in the principality. As found normal at Monaco, the race was interrupted by four safety car periods after a series of crashes, but Webber stayed cool and re-built his lead every time. He survived a late scare, as two backmarkers collided right in front of him, which brought out the safety car. The race thus ended under the safety car. The starting grid did not …

he Bull kept charging, and this time it was Mark Webber ahead of his team-mate Sebastian Vettel as the Red Bulls finished in P1 and P3. Splitting the pair was the Ferrari man Fernando Alonso, much to the delight of the Spanish crowd, in what would be the first of his two home grands prix of the season. ast year’s Chinese GP produced a Red Bull 1-2; this time it was a McLaren 1-2. Jenson Button again lead his fellow countryman Lewis Hamilton in another wet-dry-wet race. Once again, Button judged conditions perfectly, just like he had done at Melbourne. Sebastian Vettel continued to be Saturday’s star, as he secured his third pole position of the season, pipping team-mate Mark Webber by about a quarter of a second. he Malaysian Grand Prix had it all, and gave us another reassurance that Formula 1 is still the heart-stopping, adrenalin-pumping, thrilling spectacle that it has always been. The thunderstorms which were threatening to spoil the fun stayed away on Sunday, as we had a full length dry Malaysian Grand Prix. Saturday’s qualifiers were, however, hit by rain.
