That is exactly what Casey Stoner is doing, as he won the Gran Premi Aperol De Catalunya 2011. Both the Yamaha boys were present on the podium, with Jorge Lorenzo ahead of Ben Spies.

Casey Stoner won on his debut ride with Repsol Honda, and continued adding to his impressive record at Qatar. Stoner eventually finished 3.440s ahead of reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing), with Pedrosa third in another factory Honda. Pedrosa took the lead from the start of the race and then it was the reigning World Champion, Lorenzo, who took up the mantle as race leader.
