2011 Formula 1 UBS Chinese Grand Prix (Shanghai)

This year, we had a dry race at Shanghai, but it was a game of tyre poker. At the end of it all, McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton held his cards close to his chest, and played it to perfection. 2011 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix(Kuala Lumpur)

Sebastian Vettel kept up his winning streak with his fourth victory in a row in Malaysia. But Red Bull’s rivals were able to push them closer during the race and Jenson Button finished only three seconds behind. Red Bull had KERS here, but there were question marks over its effectiveness and reliability. Vettel managed to hold his lead (from pole) at the start ahead of Hamilton, but the two Renaults got off to bullet-starts. Heidfeld moved into 2nd, having started from 6th. The day marked a wonderfull opening ceremony for the Indian Premier League Season-4. And in the opening match the defending champions are fighting Kolkata Knight Riders. The IPL-4 has many attractions which include two new teams, Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers.Another significant change is the team structure eventhough the icon player stayed with the home teams, there are many new signings, a few noted ones are Gautam Gambhir joining KKR as captain leaving Delhi daredevils.

Casey Stoner won on his debut ride with Repsol Honda, and continued adding to his impressive record at Qatar. Stoner eventually finished 3.440s ahead of reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing), with Pedrosa third in another factory Honda. Pedrosa took the lead from the start of the race and then it was the reigning World Champion, Lorenzo, who took up the mantle as race leader. 2011 Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix(Melbourne)

Sebastian Vettel continued from where he left off in Abu Dhabi last season. He stormed his way to pole position, dominated the race rarely relinquishing his lead, and took the flag as the sun was setting in Melbourne. Lewis Hamilton came home second in the McLaren, and thereby silenced a few critics of the MP4-25.
