BSNL 3G Tariff Plans Introduced
The 3G spectrum was given the go ahead by the Government of India last year.Almost all of the Mobile Phone Manufacturers have already come up with 3G enabled phone.Now BSNL has introduced its 3G tariff plans.Lets see the main details of the BSNL 3G plan.
For both prepaid and postpaid customers,you will first have to pay a sum of Rs 300,which goes in as the cost of the SIM card.Now if you are already using a 2G SIM,you can migrate to 3G by buying a voucher costing Rs.151.

The migration is possible for existing General Prepaid plan customers.For others,they will first have to migrate to General Prepaid Plan(with a ‘zero’ voucher) and then migrate to 3G using the same Rs. 151 voucher.The number does not change on migration.However,this is subjected to technical feasibility.
The Data plans in BSNL 3G are as follows.

The extra usage charge per MB is Rs. 2.00 as in the prepaid plans.
We also get the option for a concessional tariff at night hours at Rs. 1.00 per MB using a voucher of Rs.28.00.The night hours are from 11.00 PM to 7 AM.
