Nokia N97 will be soon available in India.It was launched in Delhi a couple of days ago.The N97 is a much awaited phone as news about its heavy specs came out.The N97 is the newest addition to the business class of mobiles.

This slide out phone comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a lot of other features for the businessman.The handset runs on an ARM 11 434 MHz processor on a symbian OS.The display should be great as it comes in a 3.5 inch TFT resistive touchscreen with 16 M colors and a 360×640 pixel resolution.Again,the screen has an accelerometer and also supports handwriting recognition.
The camera also looks promising with a 5 MP camera that comes with Carl Zeiss lens.There is also a dedicated key for camera.
This Tri-band HSDPA/quad-band GSM phone is 3G enabled and has and advanced GPS ,digital compass and geotagging.The connectivity options are also great with support for 3G,Wi-Fi,EDGE and GPRS.
There is also an FM radio with RDS.You will also get a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a 32 GB on board memory and a micro SD slot for expanding.
For the business,you get pocket office preloaded into the phone.The N97 seems like a worthy competitor to the iPhone 3G S,but the price is expected to be on the higher side.
