A new name in the GOOGLE think tank Mr.Nikesh Arora-President Global Sales Operations & Business Development.Nikesh the high-flying Indian-Born 39 year old is not new to the google family,but just 4-5 years.Mr.Arora is not a new face in the global business scene as  well.He joined Google in 2004,since then he has held several positions with the company.Very recently, he led Google’s global direct sales operations.It is said that he developed the company’s operations in the Europe, and was responsible for creating and expanding strategic partnerships in those regions.
Born in Delhi , to a father who was a financial planner for the Indian Air Force and a mother with a Masters degree in Mathematics,he left India at the age of 21 to study MBA in US.Nikesh holds a master’s degree from Boston College, an MBA from Northeastern University, both of which were awarded with distinction.After this he joined PUTNAM Investments, which gave him a contact with the Deutsche Mobile unit.At T-mobile he became responsible for the 3-G services.He also became one of the senior foreign executives at the German dominated company.Nikesh got the job after wandering around the British Museum, being interviewed on the move by Google’s founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

In his new role as President, Global Sales Operations and Business Development, Nikesh Arora will have responsibility for all Google’s revenue and customer operations, as well as marketing and partnerships. He has a proven track record at Google, having spent the last four and a half years building their  European operations into a substantial business.Some people say he will be with google for quite a long period.Lets wait and see whta happens.
