It is a traditional concept that CEOs took charge in their 60s,eventhough we have exception like Steve Jobs,Bill Gates,Lawrence J.Ellison etc.But it is not the same with Tata group.For them it changed to 40s. n-chandrasekaran.jpg The $62 billion Tata group can now boast about there young work force and young leadership as well.When Mr.N.Chandrasekaran takes over as CEO,Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) on October this year,he will be among the youngest CEOs in the Indian IT industry.And he will be among one of the youngest CEOs ever appointed in the tata group itself.He already has some company.The group’s telecom business also has a couple of young talents like Mukund Govind Rajan,MD,Tata Teleservices who is the youngest of all is just 40 and Srinath Narasimhan CEO, Tata Communications is just 46.Ramakrishnan Mukundan,42 who has been executive director in charge of Tata Chemicals and consumer products business succeeded Homi Khusrokhan as Managing Director of Tata Chemicals.
